I like these stories, and the author's writing style, but some of her characters, including the Masters children, are too consistently unlikable. Regarding the children, her portrayal of teen angst is realistic enough, but it needs to be balanced with more evidence of their good qualities. I expect to continue reading the series but that tendency to make some characters one dimensional is a distraction.Product details

I LOVE the Molly Masters Mystery series! Ms. Kane does a wonderful job weaving the personalities and idiosyncrasies of a multitude of characters into a light yet thought provoking mystery. Developing detailed personalities to each of her characters, she provides a sense of reality as the story winds it's way to climatic conclusions.
I really enjoy the Molly Master's series. The main character (Molly, obviously) is nicely developed and the books are well written.
Excellent read
Full of funny dialogue and descriptive characters.. I would like to see another book to finish out this series with the son Nathan at his last year of high school. I have enjoyed every book in this series. Thank you Leslie O'Kane for son very pleasurable reading.
Molly is a very likeable character. The plots are interesting, if you can believe that the average American neighborhood could have this many murders. Once past that stretch, the stories are humorous and nicely written. Read them in sequence if possible as the characters develop along the way.
I loved this series,after reading the first one I got hooked.This is a very good series.
Book 7 of the Molly Masters Mysteries is an excellent mystery I enjoyed. There are excellent characters/suspects, a great plot and entertaining family enteractions with Molly's two teenage children.
"Death Comes to the PTA" is a great book I highly recommend. I also encourage reading the whole series.
